CFM International (CFM) is the world’s leading supplier of commercial aircraft engines.

To date, the company has delivered nearly 25,000engines to more than 500 commercial and military operators worldwide.
In addition to the highly successful CFM56 product line, CFM is developing the advanced  LEAP engine, an entirely new design that has been selected to power the Airbus A320neo (new engine option)  the Boeing 737 MAX and COMAC’s  C919 150-passenger aircraft, all scheduled to enter commercial service in the 2016 / 2017 time frame.
CFM is a 50/50 joint company between Snecma (Safran group) and General Electric Company.  The partnership agreement, originally signed in 1974, has been extended to the year 2040.
