Ensure you are kept informed regarding the 2015 Airline Strategy Awards

The Airline Strategy Awards are now well into their second decade, having first been held back in 2002. They are designed to recognise the crucial role that management talent plays in shaping the success of the industry and individuals alike. 

The six main awards cover the key functions that make up a successful airline leadership team, including special recognition for a mainline or regional carrier providing strong links in its geographic region. This year, we have combined the Technology and Environment categories into a single award recognising leadership in the fields of technology, the environment and operations.

The Awards take place on Sunday 12 July in the historical surroundings at The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in central London.

The transition of Turkish Airlines from regional carrier to globally recognised player in the airline industry is one that I am immensely proud of, and the company as a whole is inspired by. To be sighted by The Airline Strategy Awards for my Executive Leadership role is an honour and acts as motivation for us to strive further for our passengers. The future is looking bright for Turkish Airlines as we continue to add new destinations and flight times to our portfolio. To be included in such an illustrious list of previous winners is truly exciting and I wish this year’s nominees the best of luck.

 This award recognized the extraordinary effort all of my colleagues at Hawaiian Airlines have invested in transforming our company from an Interisland carrier with domestic ambitions into an International carrier spanning the Pacific.  Being recognized by such an important and authoritative magazine as Airline Business has helped validate the strategy we have adopted and has become a great source of pride throughout our company.
